The world seems to be going utterly mad at the moment. It can’t have escaped anyone’s notice that countries are locking down due to Covid19, and our own UK government is now advising us all to work from home if we possibly can. There are threats of being forced into total lockdown if we don’t comply and try to ‘self-isolate’ as much as possible.

With fibre broadband, many of us can work from the comfort and security of our own homes, even if that has to be from the kitchen or dining table for some people! I myself am writing this from my dining table, which is my temporary office.

What I’d like to point out, amongst all of the doom and gloom, is that there will be life after the virus. We WILL get through the period(s) of isolation, and we will need to continue with our work and businesses. Our businesses – especially in the case of micro-businesses like mine – are our livelihoods. That means continuing with projects now, ready to carry on just as soon as we can.
We’ll all probably experience a period of slow business, which makes it doubly important to be ready as soon as it’s all over!

That being the case, there is an opportunity now. While we’re all self-isolating at home, we should take the opportunity to prepare our businesses for the period following the pandemic.

Often, business owners are so busy working in their businesses, that they don’t have time to work on their own businesses. This is a common problem.

We can use this time now to prepare our businesses for the period that will follow the pandemic.

Those who are properly prepared will be more likely to succeed.

What can we do to help you?

Most of the businesses we deal with are B2B or B2C businesses. Our websites are our virtual ‘shop windows’. This remains the case no matter where we are, or what time it is, or what state the world is in.
We need to keep them fresh, attractive and up-to-date if we are to generate business through our web presences.
